Parent Organization/Get Involved

White Rock Rowing Parent Volunteers provide essential support for the kids and coaching staff at both the boathouse, and on the road at regattas. Organizing shelter, food and beverages for a team of more than 50 rowers and coaches traveling to regattas is a huge endeavor – many hands make light work! The added bonus is that there is no better way to understand the sport, meet your rower’s teammates and families than by volunteering to help. White Rock Rowing is a non-profit organization and parent volunteers are vital to the success of our operations. Whatever your interest or skill set we have a place for you to get involved.

We hold parent meetings twice a year at the beginning of Fall and Spring season. This ensures that our parents are informed about program information, discover ways to be a part of the parent team, and have a chance to meet each other to provide needed support for the kids and coaching staff. Any additional meetings are held on an as needed basis.
