Spring Registration is Now Open!

White Rock Rowing is a nationally competitive program in Dallas, Texas, dedicated to developing youth athletes through elite coaching and top-tier competition. We foster a culture of excellence, encouraging discipline on the water, in the classroom, and in life while building strong relationships and leadership skills. With professional coaching, we guide rowers from their first strokes to competing at local, state, and national championships.

The Team

From Novice to National Competitor

White Rock Rowing is a nationally competitive program based in Dallas, Texas, dedicated to the development of youth athletes. We offer a unique opportunity for athletes to receive elite-level coaching, compete against top national teams, and enjoy an incredible experience.

We are committed to the development of our athletes. White Rock Rowing provides a path to guide our rowers from their first strokes as novices all the way to elite national and international competitions. Our athletes compete in local, state, and national races, and we regularly send competitors to the Youth National Championships. While 99% of our athletes have never rowed before when they first walk through the door, they are coached to be competitive on a regional and national level within the first year.

The Culture

Building Champions On and Off the Water

White Rock Rowing is a year-round rowing club with professional coaches who care about the team and are dedicated to helping young men and women reach their full potential, both as students and athletes.

'A culture of excellence' means being committed to living a disciplined life on the water, in the classroom, among peers, and within families. For excellence to be a reality, one must strive to be the best in all areas of life.

We are dedicated to training athletes in well-rounded and fundamental ways to help them become leaders among their peers. We focus on team unity while building relationships. Through our program, players, families, and coaches will develop lifelong connections.

Rowers

From Novice to National Champion

New rower looking to join? No rowing experience is necessary to join the team. From novices to athletes training for a national championship, our experienced coaching staff is here to teach everyone. The team trains at a competitive level in all age groups.

All ages are invited to join the team. We are committed to the long-term development of all athletes, focusing on conditioning and technique to set the athletes up for success in the future.

Coxswains

Lead the Team to Success

Coxswains are among the most important people in the boat. The coxswain is the coach in the boat, the chief strategist during a race, encourages the crew, and is in charge of steering. If you are a little undersized to be a rower, then coxing can be a great way to enjoy all the benefits of rowing and being a student-athlete. We are always looking for coxswains, so if you are interested in taking charge, sign up for our tryout period and see how being on the rowing team can transform your life.

The Coaches

Building Champions On and Off the Water

The White Rock coaching staff includes former international and collegiate rowers, coaches, and coxswains, with extensive experience developing high school athletes in a safe, supportive, and challenging environment. Yes, we make boats go fast, but our larger goal is to build character and commitment in the young men and women of White Rock Rowing. We provide a platform for student-athletes of all backgrounds and capabilities from across the Dallas area to learn to row and race in a team environment built on a culture of excellence. Our program emphasizes character development, a strong work ethic, self-confidence, and respect for others.
