Middle School Rowing

No Experience Necessary! For Grades 5-8.

Our middle school rowing program is designed for students in 5th–8th grade, with separate groups for 5th–6th graders and 7th–8th graders. Whether they are brand new to the sport or building on previous experience, athletes receive expert coaching in both on-water and land-based training to develop their skills, strength, and confidence in a positive and encouraging environment—while making lifelong friendships with teammates from all over DFW.

U15 (Previously 7/8th) Group

Competitive Middle School

Our U15 group practices three days a week, where athletes get to learn both styles of rowing: sculling (two oars per person) and sweeping (one oar per person). Along the way, they'll join in on scrimmages with other teams, giving them a taste of what competitive rowing is like as they prepare for high school. It’s a great way to improve skills, make memories, and experience the excitement of racing!
