Middle School Rowing

No Experience Necessary! For Grades 5-8.

Whether they are brand new to the sport or building on previous experience, athletes receive expert coaching in both on-water and land-based training to develop their skills, strength, and confidence in a positive and encouraging environment—while making lifelong friendships with teammates from all over DFW.

7th/8th Group

Competitive Middle School

Our 7th/8th grade group practices three days a week, where athletes get to learn both styles of rowing: sculling (two oars per person) and sweeping (one oar per person). Along the way, they'll join in on scrimmages with other teams, giving them a taste of what competitive rowing is like as they prepare for high school. It’s a great way to improve skills, make memories, and experience the excitement of racing!
